Me

I’m Daniel, and I am your local professional knife sharpener! I went to the Colorado School of Mines Engineering Physics (class of ‘18). After college I worked as a high school teacher teaching engineering electives and physics for 6 years. Now, I work as a CAD Technician for a local knife manufacturer. I’ve been hand-sharpening knives for about 10 years, and in the fall of 2025 I started Central Park Sharpening Solutions to bring that service to my own neighborhood. It’s been an honor getting to know and help hundreds of families right here in Central Park, making happy customers with clean cuts.

My Family

I grew up in Central Illinois in a small town called Mahomet, near Champaign Urbana home of the fighting Illini (shoutout to all the Midwest transplants!). I moved out to Colorado in 2014 for college, and have been here in the Denver area since. My wife and I moved to Central Park in 2022 and have absolutely loved living here, it’s an incredible place to live. My wife and I are expecting our first child, a son, this summer! We also have a sweet little cat named Goku.
